Precision Tool Holder

Precision Tool Holder

thingiverse

A 3D-printed tool holder for your printer's accessories! (That one-day project went a bit awry...). To ensure mini pliers fit on the hangers, you'll need either leaf springs or coil springs - available here and here, respectively. The friction-fit hangers can be placed without glue, but trays require super glue; gel super glue is recommended over instant for a better grip. Printed in ABS with a 0.35mm nozzle, this holder accommodates a 10 x 10 x 10 mm cube as a 10.5 x 10.5 x 10.5 mm cube due to the printer's excess material output. Friction-fit parts are designed with this tolerance in mind. To ensure hangers fit correctly, test print one hanger and the body together before gluing if necessary. For the main body, a generous skirt is recommended for printing, and bed calibration ensures flawless corners. Choose from four tray sizes - 15, 25, 60, and 90 mm deep - based on your needs. The top plate is optional for aesthetic purposes, while the hanger end cap is also optional but useful for turning a section of the hanger into a tray.
