Precision Router Circle Jig - Bosch Colt
thingiverse
This is based on a handmade circle cutting jig that I saw in a luthier's shop. The adjuster knob allows the user to make fine adjustments, which is necessary for cutting the precise channels for guitar rosettes. The jig is printed and then assembled using readily available 1/4"-20 threaded rod, 1/4"-20 nuts (normal and locking types), and 1/4" solid rod. This jig can be made for small circles or very big circles, depending on the length of the parallel steel rods. The jig pivots on a 1/4 solid rod placed into a workboard (typically plywood or mdf).
