This tool serves as a precision handle for a jack-o'-lantern cutting device. It employs half of a scroll-saw blade, which is ideal due to its small kerf and shallow profile. This setup enables users to cut intricate shapes with greater accuracy. The jack-o'-lanterns depicted in the accompanying images were crafted using a vinyl stencil (cut on a vinyl plotter) in conjunction with this tool. To assemble the precision cutting device, start by taking one pin-end scroll saw blade and carefully snip it in half. Next, print two copies of the included file, then secure the two halves around the pin in the blade. Finally, fasten everything together using zip ties. While it may not be aesthetically pleasing or comfortable to hold, this tool functions exceptionally well. Feel free to design a more ergonomic version if desired.
