I redesigned the "Precision Piezo Hotend Z-Probe" mounting system for my Printrbot Simple Metal because the original groove mount design was prone to hotend movement under sharp accelerations. The new mount is more secure and reliable, offering a stable platform for precise measurements. This versatile design can be adapted to other clamp/friction mounts by modifying the SolidWorks file to fit specific machine requirements.
