Engineer: Precision of a HACCURY (4'' / 2mm) glass bought from Aliexpress ($10).\n\nNeeded to achieve the geometry and placement of the guide rails of a digital milling machine, ten times cheaper on a precision ruler.\n\nThe small axial level is a classic 29x10x10 ($1).\n\nTo achieve upper and lower leaf springs, cut and drill/assembling two flexible tabs (can be covered or stripped for example).\n\nThree micro screws for the slats, one M3x10mm for adjustment.\n\nAdjustment is made using the screw so the bubble remains in the same place by turning the level 180 degrees. A bracket fixed on a worktop is used to reposition the level at the same location during turnaround.\n\nTwo 6x1.5mm neodymium magnets can be glued underneath to set the level square or precision ruler.\n\nLateral stops may require light sanding depending on print settings to avoid interfering with glass movement.
