Precision 608zz Customizable Variable Sized Spool Holder!

While many spool holder models exist, I chose to create my own to ensure customization. Using Open-SCAD, I designed this customizer and shared it with the Thingiverse community. The default settings generate a spool insert and bushing for a standard 608zz bearing (available on Amazon: http://amzn.to/2A6YtQa). This bearing is commonly used in 3D printing, so keep a spare handy. A 1/4" (6.35mm) bolt (http://amzn.to/2A5B5CB) will pass through the insert. To print the spool holder, simply duplicate the STL file in your slicer for each side.
