Pre-Heater for Epax E-10 Resin Printer
thingiverse
A stand to support a heater, fan, and temperature probe in the Epax E10 printer. I made Matt Bilsky's heater: Matt's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiv34CVMyfg Matt's heater chassis: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3974652 The E10 removes the whole printer cabinet to access the build plate and vat. There's no permanent surface where I could mount the heater or temperature probe. This supports the heater/fan unit, keeping it clear of the zero-mechanism in the E10, and providing enough clearance for the cover and for airflow. The probe mounts on the other side of the vertical arm. It's split into two STLs for printing on an Ender-sized printer. I printed in PETG for heat resistance. You never heat things up all that much, so PLA is probably fine, but I haven't tried it with PLA. Everything goes together with M4 bolts. The corner bolts on the printer are M4. I had to replace them with longer bolts. Heating element mounts using M4 bolts and M4 square nuts, inserted into the slots in the support arms. 4 bolts, 2 square nuts total, plus a zip tie for the temperature probe. Actually printed on a CR6-SE, but that's not on the list. Support on build-plate only, but probably not super important.
