This sheet metal weighs 1.7 kg per drawer. It features an advanced Electronic Lock System with a slide-out of about 5 cm when unlocked, providing sensor feedback on open/closed and locked/unlocked status. With rounded edges, the flip-up cover plate must be closed before the drawer can slide back. The max-sized package must fit under the fixed part of the cover. A slim metal Push-To-Close/Pull-To-Open Latch system is in place, along with a strong piano hinge. In case of flip-up cover plate damage, it cannot jam or get stuck. All four drawers can be pre-assembled at the workshop for easy installation, which involves removing old drawers and sliding in the new unit. This cost-effective solution does not require additional sensors, motors, or electronic elements.
