Praying otters. Hook for Masks, to reduce ear back pain for wear masks
thingiverse
Kinmen Island, located in Taiwan, is home to an adorable conservation animal known as the Eurasian otter. The otter's prayer pose is reminiscent of the islanders' gentle nature, seeking peace and harmony. We drew inspiration from this image to create a mask hook designed to reduce ear strain caused by prolonged mask-wearing. This innovative design aims to alleviate discomfort and promote comfort while wearing masks for extended periods. The mask hook's ergonomic shape ensures a snug fit, minimizing pressure on the ears. To maximize effectiveness, we recommend the following: 1. Utilize TPU or similar soft and flexible materials to create the mask hook. 2. Adjust the length of the hook according to individual preferences or re-edit the STL file to achieve the perfect fit. By combining functionality with a touch of whimsy, our design embodies the spirit of Kinmen Island's residents, who pray for peace and harmony in their community.
