Prayer Wheel Herb Grinder

Prayer Wheel Herb Grinder

In rural Tibet hand mills are still common for grinding grain into flour. During the grinding process they often chant the famous "Om mani padme hum" mantra, just like they were rotating a prayer wheel. This phenomenon gave me the idea for an herb grinder that is also a prayer wheel. I used the Tibetan version of the mantra and also some Buddhist symbols for decoration. For the symbols I used some SVG files that weren't my creations. I printed the top upside down so the tooth would be fine but this way the the Dharmachakra on top looks a bit messy, but that is probably thank to my inexperience with 3D printing. Also there is a 0.5 mm gap between the top and bottom halfs because otherwise they wouldn't fit, at least that is my experience.
