Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major

This is the Pratt& Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major radial aircraft engine. This massive mass-produced aircraft piston engine boasts an incredible 28 cylinders and delivers over 3,000hp of raw power, with a special augmented variant capable of producing an astonishing 4,300hp. The R-4360 has been chosen to power iconic aircraft such as the B-36 "Peacemaker", Boeing B-50, and Boeing 377, among many others. I created this model because I was unable to find a suitable free model of this engine; instead, I decided to design my own version. This is an ongoing project, so please be aware that it may undergo significant changes in the future. My long-term plan includes modeling other famous engines like the R-3350 used on the B-29, the R-1820 powering the B-17, and many more. Additionally, I intend to focus on jet engines in the coming days, such as the J-58 that propelled the SR-71 Blackbird. For now, bear with me as Thingiverse is not cooperating; I had to upload a dummy file to complete this submission, but I hope you still enjoy this model!
