Praga S5T (road five-tonne, colloquially known as espetka) is a medium-tonnage road truck built on the basis of a three-tonne Praga V3S. The S5T inherits mainly the drivetrain and modified frame from its predecessor, along with the cab. In contrast to the V3S, the S5T features a two-axle configuration with rear-wheel drive (4x2). Over time, three developmental versions emerged, differing primarily in engine usage. The original design of the vehicle consists of a flatbed and three-way tipper. Additionally, other custom-built superstructures were mounted on the truck. Variants with extended wheelbases or cabs also existed. Under the designation S5T-TN, trailer trucks based on the modified S5T chassis were produced. Production of the Praga S5T took place at AZKG Praha-Vysočany from 1956 to 1961 and later at Avia Letňany until its completion in 1972.
