Astronomy telescope mounts usually demand multiple power supply bricks to power cameras, mounts, and other equipment like strip heaters. Typically, the power strip remains on the ground with a tangle of wires, posing a tripping hazard in dark environments. A gripping solution allows a 6-position power strip sold by Lowe's to be snapped onto a 2-inch diameter tripod leg found on mounts such as the EXOS II sold by Explore Scientific. Two of these adapters are required. The brackets securely grip the power strip case and a small cylinder inserts into the keyhole feature, locking the adapter in place without needing screws. Lowe's power strip model number is 615219; however, this has not been tested on any other power strips.
