PowerSpec 3D Pro/FlashForge Creator Pro Door Holder
thingiverse
I've been mostly printing with PLA lately and my printer (PowerSpec 3D Pro) has a tendency to drop its door halfway down mid-print, hitting me on the head whenever I level the build plate. So I made this little hook to keep the door fully open. It's not complex or fancy but works flawlessly nonetheless (and looks great with glow-in-the-dark filament). I embedded some text into mine, but decided it would be better to upload the plain version. This design was created for a PowerSpec 3D Pro printer, but should also work well on many FlashForge printers. I believe the 3D Pro is simply a rebadged Creator Pro. Also, many other FF printers use the same frame. Print Settings Printer: PowerSpec 3D Pro Resolution: .20 Infill: 15% Notes: This is a straightforward print. Orient the object upside down in your slicer and use standard settings recommended by your filament manufacturer...there shouldn't be any issues. I printed with Micro Center's house brand glow-in-the-dark PLA filament (make sure to install a hardened/coated nozzle when using this stuff as it will eat through standard brass nozzles). My temps were 205°C for the extruder and 40°C for the build plate. A brim isn't necessary, but I used one anyway.
