Powerline Reset Button Extension

Powerline Reset Button Extension

thingiverse

This is a little extension reset button for most electronics parts such as Powerline and other similar items. I made this one specifically for the FRITZ! Powerline 500E, so you can easily press the reset button without needing a needle or thin stick after placing it in the device. Let me know how you're going to use it! Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: It's easy to print, just make sure the dimensions come out right, solid and clean. Post-Printing Unscrew the screws of the device first. Remove both outer shells and the heatsync inside carefully. Be careful because the metal shield might still be hot! Step 1: Disassembly Pull back the notches that hold the heatsync in place. The heatsync is a metal piece. The device with the heatsync removed is shown below. See the black button to the left? It's too short while the white one has an extension, allowing you to press it easily without needing something thin. The image below shows the part where the black thing belongs. Insert the extension into this part. Step 2: Assembly Put everything back together in order, ensuring the heatsync is on correctly and nothing is loose. That's it! You now have a reset button that can be pressed without using a stick or thin object. This works great for similar items where the reset button is hard to reach. Some resizing might be required. Thanks for reading! How I Designed This Design This was created using the free online tool Tinkercad, which you're free to try out as well!
