PowerKing SBC1 Blasting Cabinet - rLab dust extraction system fitting
thingiverse
This thing is part of the rLab unified dust extraction system that connects a PowerKing SBC1 Blasting Cabinet to the dust extraction. It accepts an rLab unified dust collection fitting version 4 and bolts into the cabinet over the port where the internal filter goes. It's printed in sections with the base plate clamping onto the cabinet, then three of the springs are fitted inside, a spacer to hold them in place, and the hose fitting screwing on top to complete the assembly. The three plastic springs that fit inside the base plate provide a limit on the suction that the system can generate in order to avoid the lid of the cabinet being sucked inwards or the gloves being pulled off their mounts. The tension of the springs can be adjusted from a parameter in the OpenSCAD file to allow stronger or weaker suction. In order to use this design, you'll need to download the files for this thing, the V4_fitting.scad file from the rLab unified dust extract system page, and the threads.scad library file version 2.2 by Dan Kirshner which is available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1938150
