Update, amazing news! I've run some thrilling virtual experiments and performed high-level math calculations. As a result, I discovered that the vents were excessively large. I revamped them and designed custom bearings for this [mainly generator] template. The bearing ball size is 8mm. The answer to your question, "why so bulky?", was my intention to make it robust enough in design. My future plans are to create a bearing-to-shaft connection, reducing weight without compromising durability significantly. Currently, the plastic weighs around 2 kg.
