Powerfix Magnetic Insect Screen corner

Powerfix's insect screens are incredibly simple to assemble and use, but I found that the packets available from Lidl in 2017 were only intended for a single window measuring up to 110 cm x 130 cm. Determined to make the most of my purchase, I wanted to create two separate screens for smaller windows using the same packet. Fortunately, the longitudinal strips and magnetic parts provided were more than sufficient to make two smaller screens, but I soon discovered that there were only four corners in the box, which was clearly designed for one screen. To overcome this limitation, I designed a 3D printed part that allowed me to create four additional corners, effectively doubling my purchase and enabling me to make two screens out of the box. Although a small amount of glue was required to secure the replacement corners in place, the end result was well worth the extra effort.
