Powerfist Mini Mill Drive Gear
thingiverse
I had a mishap on my Powerfist mini mill that ended up destroying the factory plastic gear. I reverse engineered said gear to make this version which arguably is double the strength of the factory unit even with it being a 3D printed part. The print must be 100% infill to guarantee functionality. I have been using this gear in my mill almost daily for about 8 months with no issues. I am still warry of heavy interrupted cuts though as the mill is limited. It can be printed in PLA or PETG. I found printing without a brim to bring the best results. If you have any modifications to make to this gear that improve it please let me know, I would love to see what you came up with. Happy printing
