Powered Speaker Kit

Powered Speaker Kit

This is a custom enclosure for a powered speaker kit. It will house off-the-shelf LM386 amplifier kits and a 66mm speaker to create an excellent end product for your workbench or ham radio setup. This project began as an experiment in producing kits with enclosures, anticipating low production runs, if not individual ones. Instead, I found this experience to be highly instructive and believe the future of kit building will indeed involve downloadable and printable models. Several videos were created to support this project. A Demonstration Video is available at https://youtu.be/V9qaZ-DIUcM. An Assembly Video can be viewed at https://youtu.be/jiKwQaXNU0E. Instructions on how to tin headset wires are also available at https://youtu.be/7uHgvq2Cm3k. If you would like to assemble a kit and need parts, I have a limited number of kits for sale on eBay at https://www.ebay.com/itm/163150491109.
