Powerbox & Futaba receiver mount
thingiverse
I wanted to design a reliable and robust method for assembling a PowerBox - Systems Evolution with a Futaba receiver (RS7008SB) inside an airplane. The outcome is a straightforward mount that can be used with most Powerbox models and Futaba receivers. Small slots guide the wiring, while standoffs allow for adequate cooling. A clamp secures the receiver in its compartment, keeping it firmly in place. Two guides for antenna tubes at a 90° angle are located next to the receiver. The mount is attached to M3 x 8 spacers, which should be glued into the fuselage. This setup makes it easy to remove all electronics if needed. ! NOTE ! Use five walls in your slicer settings when using threaded inserts. Otherwise, they won't hold securely, posing a risk of losing vital equipment during flight.
