Powerboost 1000 + MT3608 Tray
thingiverse
This is a simple tray to mount an Adafruit Powerboost 1000 LiPo charger/manager and [this MT3608 boost converter](https://www.amazon.ca/Eiechip-Voltage-Regulator-Converter-Module/dp/B07RNBJK5F/) to provide regulated 8-28V output for projects that take more than 5V. I made this as a quick fix to run a theremin that needs an 8.2v regulated input, without being tethered to a wall wart. This just keeps the parts up off the aluminium ground plane and provides a mechanical mounting point. This was my first "useful" 3D print, and I figured someone else might get some use out of it too. The mounting bosses for the Powerboost can be tapped with an M2.5x0.45 thread like I did, or bored out for an M3 or 6-32 thread, or used with self-tapping plastic screws. The MT3608 module simply sits on the platform between the side rails, and snaps under the clips on either end.
