PowerBelt3D Zero Y End Stop

PowerBelt3D Zero Y End Stop

The end stops for the PowerBelt3D Zero are very crude. For X, this is not an issue, but on the PB3DZ, Y is used to adjust the position of the extruder over the bed/belt, so it is critical (similar to Z on a "normal" printer). The standard approach is to loosen a screw, reposition the switch by hand, and re-test. There is no way to make small adjustments with this design, which results in a lot of frustration. I designed a Y end stop that is adjusted using a 4-40 screw, so very small adjustments can be made quickly and easily. It prints in 3 parts, two of which (the Plate and the Pusher) are glued together; the third part (the Sled) slides in the Pusher. I designed it this way in order to minimize the support required if the Plate and Pusher were printed as one piecer. The Plate can be printed on its side without support; the other two parts can be printed with minimal support in a variety of orientations. You will need to tap the hole in the Pusher with a 4-40 tap and provide a 1" 4-40 screw. The assembly clips over the same plate as the original design. Printed on a Prusa MK3S with Prusament PETG. I have edited the images repeatedly for clarity, but none of the edits ever seem to take. Sorry about that.
