This is a somewhat complex replacement cap. Power2max Type S is a bike power meter that measures the power you generate while pedaling. The cap is secured by two screws and has a shape that closely mimics that of the original powermeter. My worn-out cap had broken screw holders, which I suspect was due to the previous owner not realizing that the cap needed screws, not just pressure fitting. I have an authentic Power2max Type S cap, but I attempted to recreate it using 3D printing techniques. To ensure accuracy, I measured my replica with a digital caliper against the original cap. The result is a precise duplicate of the original. The reused nuts from the old cap simply press-fit into the new holes without any issues. Additionally, I designed and printed two small caps for the screw holes on the opposite side to prevent water from seeping inside. To print this replacement cap, follow the instructions shown in the model, including the use of supports. This will ensure a sturdy finish. To add extra strength, I incorporated fillets into the design and widened the cap slightly. As a note, my replica fit perfectly on the first try without any adjustments needed.
