Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane GASCAP powerswitch

This is a master power switch cleverly disguised as a fuel door for the side of a Powerwheels Jeep Hurricane. Inside, it houses a rocker switch that completely shuts down the jeep's power. I mounted it on the passenger side, but either location would suffice. The "door" itself is woefully undersized in terms of the pegs it pivots on. Our little project was quickly torn off by a curious toddler, yet the housing of the switch has performed admirably. My guess is that even if I reinforced it significantly, it would still get ripped off, so I haven't taken that step yet. Perhaps a Monza-style racing cap with a sturdy hinge would be the best solution if the cover's integrity is your top priority.
