Power Wheel Barbie Corvette to Mustang Wheel Adapter
thingiverse
My Neighbor's Daughter Tore Through The Wheels On Her Power Wheel Barbie Mustang Due To Some Sweet Burnouts And Drifting. After Finding A Barbie Corvette Abandoned In The Woods With Good Wheels, We Assumed It Would Be A Simple Swap. Unfortunately Like In The Real World, Corvette Parts Don't Just Pop Onto A Mustang. My Neighbor Suggested I 3D Print A New Adapter, And As Such This Was Born. This Is An Adapter To Allow You To Attach The Wheels From An Older Power Wheels Corvette Onto The Motor Mount Of A Recent Barbie Mustang. Printer Settings: Printer: Monoprice Maker Select V2.1 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: I've Used PLA For This With No Apparent Issues, But You May Want To Look At Printing With ABS Or Nylon For Additional Strength, Especially If You're Using This On A Modified Powerwheel That's Putting Out More Torque Than The Standard Car, OR You've Added Rubber To The Wheels For Extra Traction. How I Designed This: This Was My First Real Foray Into Using Fusion 360, As I Usually Use Sketchup. I Basically Just Modeled The Wheel Side Of The Corvette Wheel Adapter And The Motor Side Of The Mustang Adapter And Unioned Them Together.
