Power Track Chain
thingiverse
I wanted to create a 3D printable power track chain after visiting a school with massive machines featuring giant tracks for numerous wires and pneumatic systems. I wondered if these could be created using 3D printing technology. The first round is designed to house wires inside a 10mm x 10mm space through the center of the track. Simply print the parts and snap them together – it works seamlessly. To speed up assembly time, multiple chain link STL files can also be printed; however, carefully check your print settings to ensure your flow rate isn't too high, as this could cause the links to easily dislodge from one another with a little bending back and forth. This power track chain design might be suitable for tank tracks as well, but I haven't attempted that yet.
With this file you will be able to print Power Track Chain with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Power Track Chain.
