Power Tool battery adaptor

I'm absolutely passionate about tinkering with cars and spend countless hours watching car documentaries on various channels. One thing that caught my attention is how some of them utilize a 12-volt battery connected to a drill for bench and in-car testing of motors, locking mechanisms, and other components. I thought it was an ingenious and efficient idea, but they were executing it poorly by jamming wires under the battery connections or attempting to clip or tape them on somehow. I've invested in a few high-quality tools from a reputable manufacturer and have three 12-volt batteries that I use for rotating between tools, chargers, and standby mode. This got me thinking about designing an adapter for these batteries so I can utilize them when testing requires a 12-volt power source.
