Power Switch with Fuse and Fan
thingiverse
This is a Power Supply Switch with a fuse and an enclosure for a ventilator for the Anet A8 (Prusa_i3 clone) Printing: There are two versions of the model. The first one is a raw model, requiring numerous supports to print it. To achieve perfect edges on the holes, you need precise alignment. However, I also created a second version with pre-installed supports for the Power-Switch hole and modified geometries. This version can be printed without supports, ensuring a stable base on the ground. "Brim" was used for printing to prevent the model from detaching from the print bed. Assembling: The switch hole measures 48.6mm x 36mm (1.91 inch x 1.4 inch). I'm utilizing an IEC connector, "snap-in", with a switch found on reichelt.de, bearing the item number KES 3WS-SI. Two M4 screws were used to mount it to the power-supply. To be honest, it's extremely challenging to screw it in place, given the lack of a large hole for nut placement. Perhaps future versions will address this issue. Be cautious during installation, and always unplug the electric plug first! Safety is paramount. A 1A fuse was employed, which proved sufficient. I haven't installed a fan jet, but you can install a 40 mm x 40 mm fan inside the construction. Have: Fun printing! Let me know if there's anything that should be changed in future versions or what modifications you've made to the model. If you like it, please share your feedback! M.G.
