Power Supply Mount 20-2020
thingiverse
This Thing is a mounting solution for any printer that uses 20-2020 extrusion as its frame. It was specifically designed for the Flsun Delta Kossel, but it should work well on other printers too. The Flsun Delta comes with a generic power supply that poses two major problems. Firstly, there's no enclosure provided, leaving the wires and terminals exposed to potential contact and hazardous shock or short circuits. Secondly, there's no strain relief for the power plug wires, which creates another risk of shock or short circuit if the wire gets jerked loose from its terminal. Even with an enclosure, the power supply would take up valuable workspace on the printer if it's not mounted properly. This Thing mounts the power supply securely to the printer, provides coverage for the wires and terminals, and offers a secure attachment point for strain relief on the power cord. Unfortunately, I didn't include a wire channel in this design, so the wires must be routed through the bottom of the bracket before being attached to the power supply. This was an oversight, but I didn't feel like revising the design or reprinting the part at that time. See the print settings below for more information on how to bring this Thing to life. To assemble this mounting solution, I used M4x8mm flat head screws into Flsun's square nuts to secure the bracket to the frame extrusion and M3x8mm screws to attach the power supply to the bracket. The power cord is secured with 2 zip ties for strain relief.
