Power supply mod for the Ender 3
thingiverse
This design relocates the fan output and power input to the printer's rear for improved functionality. The modification is necessary due to incompatibility issues with a double z-axis upgrade I previously implemented (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3746653). To accommodate the casing, I created custom side approach nuts that attach to an aluminum profile's end. This design has been uploaded separately, as it may have broader applications (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3773580). A video showcasing this upgrade is available, offering essential safety tips (https://youtu.be/X9nnP1qhM_s). If you found this upgrade helpful or appreciated the effort, consider supporting me with a coffee purchase through my Ko-fi page (http://ko-fi.com/properprinting/). Update: I have included an updated version featuring ventilation holes, as demonstrated in the enclosure video (https://youtu.be/bCjokSxoqAI). Placing the power supply at the rear becomes more understandable when using this specific enclosure (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3838473).
