Upgrade the air flow to divert sideways and also reduce noise. In my test, I got the result that this upgrade does not obstruct the airflow from the source and also did not limit the cooling of the power source! The holes in the internal fins are designed to attenuate noise, using the shock of air waves in the holes to reduce noise. Like the holes in car exhaust mufflers! I noticed a decrease in noise, but I didn't take the measurement to see how many decibels were reduced! Installation Note (by Jimbo_Jones_): A word of advice for installation: Remove only one screw at a time, or the fan will fall into the power supply.
