Power Supply Enclosure PC to Lab Bench Power Supply
thingiverse
I needed a case for my power supply unit since the existing one was too small to accommodate the binding posts directly on it. So, this gave me more space to mount them properly. It looks better than those ugly old power supplies, which is an added bonus. I'm using the +5v, +12v, 3.3v, and main ground for my setup. The original power supply had no room inside for my dummy load, so this print provides ample space now. It was a breeze to print, taking only six hours to complete - I sped it up myself because I was impatient like you might be too. Two top-left holes are designed for the standby light and power-on light. There's also room for a switch and binding posts, all featuring 5mm holes. The back of the print features holes for mounting screws, which may be slightly off but can easily be adjusted by melting them a bit where the screw goes. I've also added a hole for the main power input and one for the PSU fan - it's crucial to include this or else the entire system will shut down.
