Power supply covers for XT60 connectors come equipped with voltage indicators, designed to be secured using M3 nuts and bolts. PCBs are specifically engineered to fit snugly within the design, ensuring a secure hold without relying on press-fit methods. For voltage indicators, a small amount of glue or thin double-sided tape is sufficient to keep them in place. A photo demonstrates how the overhang for the voltage indicator can be printed without supports using PLA, eliminating any potential issues with support removal. After assembly, a slight gap between the cover and PSU was noticed, which has since been addressed in the STL file, ensuring a seamless fit. The interior dimensions measure 113.5 mm x 50 mm. For reference, consider purchasing high-quality power supplies such as those found on Aliexpress or eBay, featuring advanced switching technology for efficient LED strip lighting. Additionally, tools like digital panel meters can be useful for voltage monitoring and testing purposes. This design marks my first independent creation using Fusion 360 software. For related accessories, consider pairing the PSU cover with brackets designed to work seamlessly together, such as those found on Thingiverse.
