Power supply cover - improved version 2

Power supply cover - improved version 2

thingiverse

This revamped power supply cover features Molex connectors, with enhancements from its initial version including a frontal air flow grid for better ventilation and clips to secure the connectors instead of glue. A new cut-out houses a 2-pin header replacing the trimpot soldered on the power supply PCB; this allows for direct voltage adjustment without removing the cover. However, opening the power supply can void warranty and is potentially hazardous, thus suitable only for experienced individuals. For others, the unused cut-out should be covered using the provided blind cover. Further details about the original version are available in the description. An updated SCAD and STL file set has been uploaded, specifically designed for Tamiya connectors. These connectors are held in place by an inner frame that screws on, replacing the Molex connectors' clips. A third version of this project is available with individual car fuse holders for each outlet, ensuring blade fuses of appropriate values protect attached devices. Finally, a new compact version has been published to accommodate a smaller 12V/30A power supply device on the market. Printing instructions specify using ABS with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.25mm layer height, and 0.56mm extrusion width; Molex clips require printing without extra shells for solidity.
