Power supply cover and switch
thingiverse
A fresh take on Elizabwth's Anet A8 power switch design, tailored to fit my specific power supply and Prusa i3 setup. Although my design expertise may not match the original creator's skills. The inspiration behind this project can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2000523. To power my printer, I've sourced a 12V-250W Power Supply Fan from Ooznest (http://ooznest.co.uk/3D-Printer-Electronic-Parts/Power-Supplies/12V-250W-Power-Supply-Fan). Updates to this design have been made in response to user feedback. Version v24 saw tolerances adjusted by half a millimeter, with an added hole for easier access to the wire terminals. In version v35, tolerances were tweaked once more. I've removed excess plastic to ensure clear passage of the bulldog clips that secure the bed's glass. The screw holes have been replaced with slots, as my initial attempts at drilling precise holes proved unsuccessful.
