Power Supply Cover and Retainer

This versatile power supply cover gives you the freedom to securely attach your power supply to any surface, whether it's mounted on top or underneath. It boasts ample ventilation and doesn't require bolting directly into the power supply itself. As a new parent, I've put the days of exposed mains wiring firmly behind me. The accompanying STL files are tailored for a power supply with dimensions of 114mm in width and 50mm in height. This design leaves a generous space of 40mm to accommodate crimped connectors on the back of the socket/switch, and features a sturdy wall thickness of 2.4mm. You can easily download the F3D files and customize the parameters to suit your needs. The key parameters to focus on are PSU width and height, as well as wall thickness. To ensure a perfect fit, I had to add approximately 0.5mm to each dimension when printing in PETG. If you're using a filament that tends to shrink, consider adding a bit more to avoid any issues. For my print, I opted for a wall thickness of 2.4mm, which worked beautifully. However, make sure to select a thickness that's a multiple of your nozzle diameter to prevent Cura from trying to fill small gaps between walls with thin lines. This can lead to printing problems, as I discovered on my first attempt.
