Power Supply Adaptor for Black & Decker
thingiverse
I scored an affordable variable buck converter power supply on Banggood.com. The link is here: http://www.banggood.com/DC-DC-Step-Down-Power-Supply-Adjustable-Module-With-LCD-Display-Without-Housing-Case-p-1038737.html I required a reliable DC power source for input and thought about my 18-volt Black & Decker battery. Inspiration struck from the 'Cordless Drill Battery Pack Adapter Plug' (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:45159), which I created some time ago. Although this is a scratch-made model. I know this project may not have widespread appeal since every brand of cordless battery has its own unique characteristics, but I hope it will spark your creativity to create an adapter for your specific brand. Printed on my Printrbot Play using Hatchbox PLA filament. The print was done vertically without any support or brim. My printer does a great job of bridging, but results may vary depending on the equipment you use. Layer height: 0.02064 inches Shell thickness: 0.8 inches Fill density: 10% Print speed: 50 mm/s Hot end temperature: 208°C
