Power strip desk mount
thingiverse
I designed a little power strip holder that can be clipped into the 1.1/2 x 1.1/2" steel tubing found in many student apartments' desks across the US. This convenient setup makes it easy to unplug anything when needed. The holder securely attaches to the desk tubing using a ziptie, which is passed through an internal channel that's just the right size for the smaller, ~4.1/2" long one. No extra supports are necessary. If you'd like to modify the design, I've included the original Inventor .ipt file for your reference and editing needs.
