Power socket wall hole cover

Power socket wall hole cover

thingiverse

I cut a hole in an exterior wall to run a power cord through to an internal outlet. Due to the large size of the plug, I had to make the hole quite big and as I didn't want any water getting inside, I created this two-piece cover. The inner circle is 41mm across, which provides a snug fit. To ensure it seals properly, I heated mine to get a tight grip and also applied silicone sealant around the edges to prevent any water from entering. The pieces of the cover press-fit together on either side of the hole, and when you rotate the notches, the cable will lock into place securely.
