I created a system that can securely connect two extension cables together, preventing them from being separated unnecessarily. Print both components as a pair, one piece sliding over the other, and use a compact travel-style padlock for added security. This design could be useful in various situations, including child safety, around workshops or work sites, or to prevent unauthorized access to equipment. I personally utilize this system to ensure that tenants cannot disconnect a heater from a power monitor. I haven't conducted extensive testing, but I believe it would also be effective with plugs where the cable exits at a 90-degree angle.
