Power Planetary Reductor with Metal Part for Nema 17 motor
thingiverse
Hello everybody! This is a reducer system with 4.5:1. It has a metal part and works in the metall mill. A ball screw is 1605, paired with 42byghw609, up to 4.0 KgCm motor. This mechanism multiplies the power of the motor by 4.5 times and provides power on the shaft about 18.0 KgCm or more than the motor in nema 17 series. If you need low-speed CNC motion, you can do this reducer. For 1605 ball screw, I have 180 motor's steps per mm. If you put a 42byghw611 Nema motor in place, you can achieve 4.8 KgCm * 4.5 = 21.6 KgCm on the output shaft. The sun gear teeth are 8. Satellite gear teeth are 10. Gear printed ABS plastic. Reducer used 2 ball bearing 607. Both bearings press into the mount and rest on the output shaft. All gears-wheels sit on the mount with a small metal cylinder. Cylinder size: 4 mm radius, inner screw m4, and height 6-6.5 mm. You need to process 3 cylinders. Cylinders input into the satellite gear and screwed into the mount. See the photo. The shaft you need to process on the lathe. You can make a cylinder 7 mm in diameter and long about 35 mm. After that, you weld or solder the shaft onto a metal sheet 2 mm thick and cut a ring 22-23 mm in radius. After that, drill 6 holes 4 mm in diameter on the 19.5 mm radius from the shaft. This is the ring you put down to the screw on the plastic mount. After that, you have a metal shaft on the mount like on the photo. Thank you for looking! I wish you happiness and more lucky designs.
