Power meter holder 90° / Stromzähler 90°- AI-on-the-edge (Design #2)
thingiverse
I have two designs for power meter because of differnt housings. This is design #2. This is an adapted version of the AI-on-the-edge meter https://github.com/jomjol/AI-on-the-edge-device: A brilliant project! Since there is not enough space in my switch cabinet in front of the counter, the image for the ESP32 CAM had to be redirected via a mirror. Now the construct builds up only 30 mm. All solutions with mirror I found all too complicated to print and have not liked with me. Here there are three parts: A holder for the counter, a baseholder and the holder for the ESP32. The design can be mounted without screws and is only clamped. You can fix the ESP32 with a cable tie. Two holes are provided for this purpose. In addition, I reduced the distance of the lens to about 60 mm. This gives a sharper image. The usual designs all have 100 mm, but the reduced distance is noticeable in the improved detection performance. You only have to adjust the focus a little bit, but this works without problems I had a 80 x 30 x 3 mm mirror cut to size. Since the reflections of the built-in lighting are too strong, I chose a single LED of a Strip based on the WS2812B LEDs and glued it inside. This also works directly on three PINs on the ESP32 CAM without resistors or capacitors. Print the Parts without suports. This works fine.
