Power LED desktop lamp, utilizing Intel CPU cooler
thingiverse
My workshop desk lamp took a hit recently, and I had to replace it with a power LED light that I already had on hand. The catch was that the replacement needed a custom cooling profile, which I managed to salvage from an old Intel CPU cooler that would have otherwise gone to waste. After assembling everything, I realized it still lacked a case to give it some style and a switch to turn it on. My first attempt at creating a case required me to break out my trusty utility knife. If you're looking for a more precise fit, the included STL files should work perfectly if your lamp arm is similar in design. If not, feel free to modify the SCAD files to suit your needs.
