Power head attachment hanger - no supports!
thingiverse
There are a few versions of something similar on Thingiverse, but none were quite right for me. I wanted to make a hanger that could be hung on a pegboard size hook or the ubiquitous drywall screw head, was easy to load on and off the attachment, could hang in more that one orientation for awkward shaped attachments (i.e. edgers and curved string trimmers), and did not require supports to print. The dimensions are all chunky and sturdy, but the overall dimensions are still quite reasonable. Tapered bottom flange easily guides the spring retainer pin in and more print-forgiving elongated holes and cone shaped interior roof do not require supports. Load and stress are carried through the center axis along reinforced areas (as opposed to weaker, off-center rings) for long service life even when your grumpy teenager uses it; also makes it hang a bit nicer if you're not too hot and tired to be OCD after doing the lawn. Prints a bit faster than other similar designs I tried owing to lack of supports, and fits the Ryobi (Home Depot), Powercare (Lowes), and Husqvarna attachments well that I have access to test it on. Designed with Tinkercad.
