Power Cord Tag
thingiverse
The site tech for our district's high school wanted to be able to label the power cord ends on the Chromebook carts. The clip is 4.8mm wide at its center point. I created a test fit model with the new HP Chromebooks they ordered this summer. Blank.stl is just that - an empty file. Tags numbered 1-36 are included in the zip file along with the Fusion 360 design file as always. If you only want to edit the text in the Fusion 360, look for the last sketch in the timeline and double-click it to open the window. You can set font style, height, and actual text from there. Customizer version is available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1685558 Please post pictures of your printed project if you make one or several; it's always nice to see how things turn out! Likes and collections are appreciated, but there's a different kind of satisfaction when someone shares their finished print. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer Model: M2 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill Percentage: 15% Notes: I had to rotate the .stl file by -90 degrees (or 270, whichever you prefer). Post-Printing How I Designed This I created this design in Fusion 360 and included the file for reference. Since this is my first attempt at creating a customizer-friendly thing, I've started working with OpenSCAD to create the customizer version. Thanks to @torleif from the OpenSCAD group for helping me overcome a major hurdle. The customizer version will be available soon once I finalize some options.
