Power Connector Housing

I believe it's always more efficient to be able to disconnect various electrical components rapidly without tools being necessary. Low-cost, high-current connectors for low-voltage DC have been scarce until recently when the industry introduced a quick-disconnect connector designed specifically for connecting high-power stereo speakers like those used at concerts. These connectors are rated at 30 amps and feature four contacts, two labeled "+" and two labeled "-", making them ideal for connecting the power cable between the power supply and motherboard (two wires) as well as the bed heater MOSFET switch (two wires). The MOSFET switch I use is mounted in a housing adjacent to the power connector and is manufactured by Digital Sqrt. These connectors are readily available from Digi-Key, Parts Express, Amazon, etc., within the US or slightly cheaper (<$2.50 USD per pair) from AliExpress in China. I have designed a housing to secure the bulkhead to the 2020 extruded rail base used on all Kossel delta printers, along with a trim piece that conceals the wires. The connector is fastened to the housing using #2 x 3/8" sheet metal screws, and the housing is connected to the base extrusions via M4 x 10 screws and M4 hammer T nuts.
