We own an LG washing machine equipped with a child-lock feature that blocks unauthorized access to the programming settings. However, for some inexplicable reason, the manufacturer failed to include this safeguard on the power button, allowing children to randomly turn the washer on and off at inconvenient times. To address this issue, I designed a simple cover to shield the power button from curious little fingers. UPDATE: Following its appearance on the YM homepage, my kids have made a concerted effort to manipulate the power button. In response, I created an optional protective cover for added peace of mind.
