Power board mount/holder

Power board mount/holder

I got a boxful of old power boards and extension cords at an opp shop. To my horror, they had holes drilled through them. The person that previously owned them appears to have just drilled through and used screws to attach the boards to a wall... Honest, that's a real danger risk - if the screw contacts the active bus inside, it would be live and could kill you. How this person managed to not drill right into a live part is miraculous. So I made this power board holder. You print two, screw one to the wall, put a power board in, and put the second one at the other end of the power board. They're reasonably tough, but if printed in PLA they let go under pressure.Do not use countersunk screws to affix these, it WILL split the plastic. Use button head screws and maybe even washers.Peace out!Ted.Also, make sure to check out my blogs, take out a subscription, or a make a donation:Ted's News Stand: https://www.ohaicorona.com/teds-news-stand/ Newsletter signup: https://www.subscribepage.com/tedamailxpressPaypal Donation: http://paypal.me/teddlesruss Ko-Fi page: https://ko-fi.com/ptec3d or https://ko-fi.com/grumpsy
