Power block (for multiple fans)
thingiverse
I designed a power block layout that allows fans to be connected, yet it can also be used for other low-power devices and 5-volt applications. For construction, I opted for a simple veroboard instead of hardwired connections, using pairs of wires for the input and up to five devices. You can leave the wires out and plug in still have four outputs available. The power block comes in two separate parts: one black stripe for 0-volts or ground, and the other stripe is red for +V, which can be either 5-volt or 12-volt or any other voltage level. You can also use yellow to indicate 12-volt usage (red is reserved for 5-volt applications). The possibilities are endless. Finally, you have two options for assembling the power block: hot glue or superglue.
